2.1 Purpose
The actual context for the proposed seminar and workshop is one of increasing calls for and expectations of improved governance and more accountability, leading to mor efficient and effective development delivery and results. The seminar and workshop will promote both the demand side of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) by addressing existing and potential evaluation clients or users, while building professional evaluation capacity on the supply side through skills training and institutional development of loca and regional professional bodies and networks.
