The Programme Manager’s Monitoring and Evaluation Toolkit was produced by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as a supplement to the UNFPA programming guidelines. It provides guidance and options for UNFPA Country Office staff to improve monitoring and evaluation activities in the context of results-based programme management. Many of the approaches described in this toolkit can also be used for programme/subprogramme/project situation analysis, assessment, design, and review. It is equally useful for other programme managers at headquarters and national levels. The toolkit contains a glossary of monitoring and evaluation terms. Issued in November 2000.
