Below is an extract from the website - The Measure Evaluation Program is pleased to offer a distance learning module, "Evaluation Methods for Population and Health Program Professionals" available free to the public in English, French and Spanish. This interactive, self-taught course uses the World Wide Web to teach reproductive health evaluation skills to project managers and evaluators in the developing world. The full program will be piloted during the 1999 Summer Institute on Monitoring and Evaluation of Population, Health and Nutrition Programs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from May-June 1999. The course focuses on evaluation methodologies in the four main areas of the project: Maternal Health - Family Planning - Child Health & Nutrition - STD/HIV/AIDS The course is divided into modules and includes tutorials on diverse subjects such as how to navigate the Internet, preparing an evaluation plan, selecting and calculating indicators, and using Epi-info and the WHO Reproductive Health Library (RHL). The site also includes an extensive presentation on the critical consideration of meta-analyses prepared by the Centro Latinoamericano de Perinatologia (CLP) in Montevideo, Uruguay and the Centro Rosarino de Perinatologia in Rosario, Argentina.
