An ODI Research Project funded by DFID's Social Development Innovations Fund. "The goal of the research project is to improve the methods and effectiveness of national level Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) with an advocacy focus to promote pro-poor policies and human rights. The purpose of the project is to develop a framework and methodology for assessing the effectiveness of policy advocacy by investigating context-specific strategies and methods used by NGOs in two countries, which seek to promote the implementation of socio-economic rights. "
