MASTER OF APPLIED ANTHROPOLOGY & PARTICIPATORY DEVELOPMENT

MASTER OF APPLIED ANTHROPOLOGY & PARTICIPATORY DEVELOPMENT (MAAPD) "This program will provide an understanding of the principal ways in which social inquiry and method can be applied to design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation processes for development activities. The MAAPD program is taught by anthropologists from specialist areas across ANU. It draws on the regional and conceptual expertise that has contributed to the world-class reputation of ANU in anthropological studies. The program comprises four compulsory and two elective courses.MAAPD is currently available on-campus at either a full-time (2 semesters) or part-time (3-4 semesters) intensity. Please note that international students studying on-campus are required to enroll full-time. There are also short-course, modular and distance-education delivery options available. The four compulsory courses are available by distance education using the ANU web-based learning site, WebCT. Please note that we are still accepting enrolments for the second semester 2005 - the closing date being June 30. (Posted 28/05/05)
