Tracer studies of ex-members of savings and credit groups. Two have been carried out by ActionAid in Bangladesh. One in 1995 and one in 1997. These are of potential value because drop-outs of S&C programmes are frequently neglected, both by ongoing monitoring systems and by ex-post evaluations and impact assessments. Yet people often vote with their feet. They can have useful things to say about what is not satisfactory about a S&C program. If organisations have the courage to ask them.
