The Development of Evaluation Capacity in Africa. Mahesh Patel, Kate Spring and James Muigaju have posted a report on Xc-eval about the results of a recent workshop on this topic. The full text of their emailed report can be found on the MandE NEWS Open The workshop was co-funded by the African Development Bank, and the Development bank of South Africa. The email report describes and comments on the several different initiatives to link evaluators in different countries, at national and international levels. (posted 12/10/00)
