Recommendations made by the external evaluator When Response

1. To AMREF to develop a Disclosure Policy, which would state what types of information would be made publicly available: (a) by default, (b) subject to a case by case assessment, (c) In no circumstances. And this Disclosure Policy to be then made publicly available on the AMREF website		 October 2007

2. To AMREF on how the documentation of the Community Needs Assessment - Overview. could be improved. Specifically, (a) to provide more information on the process of community consultation, and (b) more information on the results: how different needs were prioritised by different groups within Katine sub-county 		November 2007

3. To AMREF on how the contents of the Monitoring and Evaluation Plan could be improved. Specifically, (a) to consider reducing the scale of data collection being proposed, (b) to ensure a more appropriate sample of households is selected for the household survey, (c) to provide more information on who has and who will participate in the monitoring and evaluation processes (both partners such as Farm Africa and Barclays, and groups within the Katine community)		 December 2007
